Hello everyone.
Are you enjoying shopping?
This is Narita Citizen.
Today’s article is about Airport Mall,
a huge shopping mall
located in Narita Airport Terminal 1.
Table of Contents
Introduction
In fact, Narita Airport as a whole has more than 300 shops.
Narita is a bit of a trip from central Tokyo,
so if you come to the airport early,
please enjoy shopping at the mall while you’re here—
maybe that’s the idea.
All kinds of top-tier companies from around the world have opened stores here,
and you can absolutely have fun inside the airport even without taking a flight.
I personally love popping over to Narita Airport—whether alone or on a date.
I’ve written about it before, but I often go to Subway inside the airport.
I hope to share the appeal of Narita Airport with you this time.
There are just so many shops,
so this list focuses on stores you can enter without passing through the Terminal 1 departure gates.
If you live around Narita,
Aeon and Joyful Honda are great,
but I also recommend coming to the airport once in a while for a change of pace.
About Airport Mall (Terminal 1)
Airport Mall is
located on the 4th and 5th floors of the Central Building in Narita Airport Terminal 1.
Let’s jump right into the shop list.
All photos shown are the latest ones I took in January 2026.
Since there are quite a lot of stores,
this time I’m focusing on retail shops,
and I plan to compile the restaurant section in a separate article.
Shop List (Alphabetical / Japanese syllabary order)
Alphabet

A&F COUNTRY
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
Well stocked with outdoor goods and bags. Recommended for anyone heading somewhere far from civilization.

ABC-MART Narita Airport Terminal 1 Store
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
Everyone’s favorite ABC-MART—how about a fresh pair of kicks before you depart?
I can’t even count how many times I’ve bought Converse low-tops (black and white) in my life.

AP by AMERICAN PHARMACY
08:00–21:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
“Pharmacy” says it all—you can pick up medicines and cosmetics here.
This is the kind of store you’d be happy to have near your home.

BLUE BLUE JAPAN
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
Lots of denim items at BLUE BLUE—don’t worry, not everything is actually blue.
This reminds me of the jacket I bought around high school age. It was a really solid piece.

Capsule Marche
05:00–23:00
T1 Central Building / 5F
Champion
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
Everyone loves capsule toys—this is Japanese culture.
I think one of the best things about Japanese people is how seriously they tackle ideas that sound like a joke.
There’s even a Strong Zero capsule toy, which reminded me of my alcoholic days.

DANTON
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
Stylish workwear: DANTON.
Apparently it’s from France—very refined.

FITDRUG -Travel Style Shop-
07:00–21:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
A colorful drugstore.
You’re sure to find drugs that fit your lifestyle.

GRAN SAC’S Narita Airport Terminal 1 Store
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
A bag-focused shop.
What you put in your bag directly reflects your sense of style.

KAI CUTLERY STORE
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
Tons of kitchen knives are sold here.
It’s Japanese culture—probably a popular souvenir for overseas visitors.

KONNICHIwa
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
A classic inbound-focused souvenir shop.
It reminds me of Little Tokyo in the LA area.

LACOSTE
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
When you think of a crocodile, you think of Lacoste—and when you think of Lacoste, you think of a crocodile.
Personally, it reminds me of a line from Oni-san’s song “Oni Drill”:
“A daydreaming afternoon, an old man’s romantic—chinos and a shirt, a Lacoste hunting cap.”
The lyrics are pretty intense, so I recommend listening somewhere that’s not in front of your girlfriend or your parents!

MUJI to GO Narita Airport Terminal 1 Store
08:00–21:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
MUJI for people who value a high quality of life.
I love MUJI’s vitamin water—do they still have it?
If you know any other good items, please let me know.

MY ONLY FRAGRANCE
08:00–20:00
T1 Main Building / 4F
You can create your own original fragrance.
An ex once took me to a similar place at Lalaport in Funabashi,
and I remember it being really fun—I’d love to make my own scent again.

PAGONG
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
An aloha shirt specialty store.
If Hawaii feels hard to visit because of the weak yen, but you still want an aloha shirt—this is for you.

Pandora
08:00–21:00
T1 Main Building / 4F
A women’s jewelry brand.
How about a gift for that special girl who’s always kind and looks out for you?

SAVE THE DUCK
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
A down jacket specialist brand.
I unexpectedly found myself wanting this duck figurine.
To save ducks from being exploited for feathers, they use their own proprietary padding instead of down.

Smith
08:00–20:00
T1 Main Building / 4F
I forgot to take a photo—sorry. I’m quoting it from NAA.
It’s a general goods shop, packed with stylish items.

Stylish Travel Narita Airport Terminal 1 Store
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
They sell tons of stickers.
I’ve also written an article about stickers on Narita Citizen Blog, so please check it out.

THE NORTH FACE Depot
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
THE NORTH FACE NARITA POP UP
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
At this point, doesn’t it feel like every household has at least one item?
The North Face is on an unstoppable run.
Even the main sales floor wasn’t enough—they also have a pop-up store. Intense.

TRAVEL SHOP MILESTO
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
A bag specialty store. The fact that there are so many bag-focused shops must mean there’s a lot of demand.
Don’t people pack their suitcases at home? Mystery…

YAMADA TAX FREE

T1 Central Building / 4F
The only electronics specialty store in Terminal 1.
If you forgot your charger at home, you’re covered.
A-Row (あ行)

One Village One Product Market
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
The concept is to carry products from developing countries.
It seems to be hosted by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization).
Back when I worked in trade, I often consulted JETRO. It’s been about three years since I last heard the name.

Iwaza
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
They sell power stones.
Recommended for anyone looking for a little good luck.
Ka-Row (か行)

Gacha World
05:00–24:00
T1 / B1F
It’s underground near the train platforms.
The capsule toy boom is truly huge—sure, it doesn’t even require labor costs.

Kaneko Optical
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
If you like fashion, you’ve probably heard of them.
They offer high-quality eyewear made in Japan.

Crayon Shin-chan Action Department Store POP UP SHOP
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
Nostalgic—I used to watch it on TV when I was little.
If I remember correctly, it was from the period when I lived in Matazureso.

Looking at income properties makes me want one.
This one also looks like it has a high gross yield.
What I want isn’t a luxury car or a tower condo—it’s income properties.
I want to get as many income properties as possible in this lifetime.

Cospa Akihabara Narita Satellite Station
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
I forgot to take a photo—this is quoted from NAA, sorry.

The money-making power of animation is unreal.
Sa-Row (さ行)

Satsumaya Okutani
07:30–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
A Japanese pop-culture shop.
Recommended if you want something “Japan-like” as a souvenir.
A Hannya mask would probably make a great gift.

Wamonoya Kaya Narita Airport Terminal 1 Store
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
This area is Japanese real sh*t too.
Daruma dolls would probably be appreciated.
Ta-Row (た行)

Chiba Trade Center
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
Chiba Prefecture goods shop.
Lots of Chiiba-kun goods, so it’s recommended.

Is Narita around the eye area?

A stylish planner-and-stationery type shop. Cute.
Na-Row (な行)

They carry Japanese crafts.
Living in Japan, you might not think about it much, but for visitors from overseas it may feel special.

Nousaku
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
They mainly sell brass products.
It seems to be a traditional craft from Toyama.
Ha-Row (は行)

Hakuhinkan TOY PARK
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
A Japanese pop-culture shop.
It’s interesting that they sell stamps.
Stamps are truly a uniquely Japanese culture—I always wish we’d shift to signatures as soon as possible whenever I’m signing a contract.

Haibara
08:00–20:00
T1 Main Building / 4F
A specialty store for washi paper.
Recommended for anyone who wants souvenirs that won’t take up much space.

Hokkaido Shokuhinkan
07:30–21:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
You can buy a wide variety of Hokkaido souvenirs.
Even if you forgot to buy something locally, no problem—just come here.
Hokkaido is unfairly delicious-looking in every way.

FamilyMart Narita Airport Station Store
07:00–22:30
T1 Central Building / B1F
Everyone’s favorite FamilyMart.
No explanation needed—having one around just feels reassuring. Personally, I like that they carry two kinds of water.

Pokémon Store
09:00–20:00
T1 South Wing / 4F
Pokémon is Japan’s representative anime franchise.
The numbers generated by those colorful beasts are beyond imagination.
Ma-Row (ま行)

Motherhouse Narita Airport Terminal 1 Store
08:00–20:00

Ra-Row (ら行)

LEGO® Store
08:00–20:00
T1 Central Building / 4F
A LEGO store loved by adults, kids, and resellers alike.
When I was a child, it was a toy I could stay absorbed in from morning to night without even eating.
It’s no exaggeration to say LEGO made me love creating things.
Thank you, LEGO bricks. Indirectly, you gave birth to Narita Citizen Blog.

Lawson Narita Airport Terminal 1 5F Store
06:00–23:00
T1 Central Building / 5F
Lawson Narita Airport Terminal 1 B1F Store
00:00–24:00
T1 / B1F
And then there’s Lawson.
Lawson, an oasis for the soul.
I’ve written a praise-filled article about Lawson before as well—please check that out too.
Bonus Section

There are also POP MART machines (often seen dangling from gyaru bags),
and vending machines with JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure goods.

They’re not listed in NAA’s official information, but there’s also a simple Rakuten Mobile booth,

and a quick nail salon as well.
If you’re going for an international romance, you might be able to get those beautiful nails in shape before departure.

Is nicotine withdrawal making it impossible to shop?
Don’t worry—smoking areas are available.
Even chain-smoking IQOS gyaru can smile again with this.
Summary
That’s the Airport Mall (Shop Edition).
There are so many stores that it’s hard just to keep track.
You can easily kill a whole day here,
and with plenty of refined, stylish shops, it might be Sooo Goooood for a date too.

Next time will be the restaurant edition.
I’ll continue sharing different ways to enjoy Narita Airport.
